- I came to love this guy through Pandora…when it played his song “In the Mood”. <3 & I don’t know why but every time I hear that song or Moonlight Serenade I can’t help but think of one of my favorite childhood shows, “Tom and Jerry”. (Oooh…those were the days…). Glenn Miller and his orchestra had a really great sense as to what music should be and they definitely owned it with their unique and appealing sound. Just check them out for yourself

If you haven't yet, look for a tune called "Sing Sing Sing" performed by Benny Goodman's orchestra, though there's a more recent cover by James Horner done for "Swing Kids" that's a great performance. Thumbs up for Glenn Miller.
